In October of 2020, the American Land Title Association (ALTA) launched the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation. Their mission supports the charitable efforts of title professionals as they work to build and strengthen their local communities and exemplify the industry's values: We Lead, We Deliver, We Protect. SoftPro is proud to be a founding donor of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation.
As part of their mission, The Foundation has recently awarded emergency grants directly to communities impacted by natural disasters:
- Following the devastating tornado outbreak in Western Kentucky on December 10, 2021, the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation awarded a $10,000 emergency grant to the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund. The grant will be used to assist those impacted by the severe weather system.
- On December 30, 2021, the most destructive wildfire in Colorado's history, the Marshall Fire, destroyed nearly 1,000 homes in Boulder County. The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation awarded a $10,000 emergency grant to the Community Foundation of Boulder County for the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. With these funds, the Community Foundation of Boulder County will work closely with government and nonprofit partners to coordinate, align resources, and fill gaps to support those most impacted by the wildfires.
These two grants are the Foundation's largest individual charitable contributions to date.
