What challenges was your company facing before using SoftPro?
We have title companies across the country. And some of the challenges that we’d entertain would be really having controls over these companies from a 30,000 feet view from our headquarters out of Fort Mill, SC. SoftPro with their cloud-based solution Select enables us to really manage from a very high level and be able to dive into any office across the country. We can dive in and help if they need it. We can do reconciliation work and help balance files. We aren’t built to run title companies in Arizona out of South Carolina, but we can jump in and have an oversight and assist. And SoftPro Select enables us to do exactly that - manage from afar and really have insight into what’s taking place on a day-to-day basis.
What goals has SoftPro helped you reach?
SoftPro has definitely helped us achieve our company goals: open up joint venture title companies across the country. And so they’ve actually helped facilitate that through incorporating all the different components within our industry. As an example, we can build in the reconciliation piece, we can build in the underwriter plug-ins. We are able to have remote access. We can build in, obviously, SoftPro 360 integrations, such as UPS, FedEx, notary schedules. It enables us to really knock out quite a few items on our checklist.
What do you enjoy most about using SoftPro?
I think one of my favorite parts about SoftPro is that when a manager of an office calls me and they have a high level issue or fire they are attempting to put out, SoftPro enables me to jump in and assist. I can be in my office and jump in with my escrow manager and really dive into the challenge because I can see the file, I can see what they built out and what’s taking place, so we can assess the challenge and help overcome it.
